Four Toaster Oven Recipes For Breville BOV650XL
Eric Ripert, the owner and chef at NYC’s Le Bernardin, shows everyone four amazing recipes on the Today show using the Breville BOV650XL Compact Smart Oven. You can see in the video that Mr. Ripert was very skeptical when his wife wanted to cook a meal in a toaster oven.
It’s very understandable. The truth is, toaster ovens in the past were under powered, cooked unevenly, and just flat out wasn’t very good at anything.
That’s all changed with Breville Toaster Ovens. In the video, a professionally train French chef whips up dish after dish and even a desert. It takes no time at all, and it’s all so simple and delicious.
First he makes a fancy version of a crab cake. With crab meat, bit of mayo, some chives, lemon juice, bread crumb, spices and salt and pepper, and you are done. Takes only 8 to 10 minutes.
Then he makes a delicious yet hearty vegetarian dish with portabella mushroom. It couldn’t be easier. Remove the stem, peel the skin (I personally leave it on), some garlic slices, herb, olive oil, salt and pepper and you are done. It’s healthy, tasty and satisfying.
The third dish will be extremely popular with kids or to serve during games. It’s baked chicken fingers. Put salt and pepper on the chicken tender strips, and cover with seasoning (I couldn’t make out what he said in the video), toss in a bit of olive oil, and you got a party favorite without all the extra fat and calories.
Even the desert is easy. They ran out of time, so you can’t really see the whole thing, but I think the point here is, you can make just about everything you can in a big oven in the Breville BOV650XL. It takes much less time, much less energy, much less hassle, and the possibility is endless.
